EDUCATION

(Class Segmentation, Automation, And New Developments)

The purpose of the Education Committee is to strengthen the working relationship between the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the Business Mailers. Education is provided through mailers' clinics, business meetings, seminars and vendor events. Information facilitates the exchange of ideas about new and existing Postal Services products, programs, services and regulations that affect all businesses that use the mail. Education events are also an organized way for Postal speakers to introduce Postal services, products and programs to the public.

BALTIMORE-MAILERS' TECHNICAL ADVISORY

(Review Of Current National Issues and Technical Updates)

Because so much of the changes within the USPS requirements stem from work group efforts with the Postmaster General's Mailers' Technical Advisory Committee, the Baltimore Postal Customer Council deems it necessary to stay abreast of any and all changes that may or will affect mailing within our industry. Being aware of the efforts of MTAC ahead of implementation of change allows us to get a jump on preparation for smoother and more efficient operations for all involved. Many of the efforts of MTAC lead to the content of the Education seminars we hold each year.
